03/2006 Sari-sari 2

“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” – Mark Twain

So many things to do with our move and our road trip, so little time! I made a to-do list with deadlines and an inventory of things to sell, bring and leave. Oo na, OC ako. Buti na lang.

Last weekend was the first unofficial day of spring. Mainit kasi, compared to the previous days – 13 degrees celcius. So, Nino and I decided to go out to walk till we can't feel our feet anymore. We went around Central Park, to a street fair in Union Square (that was not a street fair after all), walk around Washington Square Park and just enjoyed the sun and the warmer weather (we took pix!).

Just like everybody else.

Ang Pinoy nga naman, pag naharap sa camera, lalo na sa TV, kelangan todo smile. Kunwari camera-shy, pero kakaway.

I saw 3 pinoys in the audience background behind Ryan Seacrest in American Idol’s opening last night. They looked Pinoy indeed, with the smile. The timid wave (kumaway pa talaga) just confirmed their Pinoy-ness. That’s Eat Bulaga audience for you in American Idol.
